Class 1: Wednesdays - 2:45-3:45 (K-5) (Currently on a Waitlist)

Class 2: Friday - 2:45-3:45 (K-5)

Maximum Class Size: 24 Students

Location: Elementary School Library

Chess is a weekly, after-school, on-campus class at Saint James Elementary School in Montgomery, AL. Both classes are open only to students attending Saint James and in grades K-5.

Classes are for new-to-chess and experienced players alike. Each class includes a learning, practice, and fun period, and kids will be paired up during play times with kids around their own level. Students will be brought directly to chess after their last class each Wednesday or Friday and have the option of being picked up by parents or taken to WonderWorks (if already registered with WonderWorks) after chess.

Class Pricing/Discounts:

• Monthly Class Price: $60

  • Includes all months with 3, 4, & 5 scheduled classes.

  • Months with 2 scheduled classes are $30.

  • Classes are scheduled each week school is in session on chess day within the date range specified above.

• Get a Discount For the Semester!

  • Choosing to pay through May will unlock a $5/month discount!

  • Full Month: $55; Half Month: $25

  • Discount does not include the current month.

• One-Time Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $15
