Chess is a weekly, after-school, on-campus class at Pike Road Elementary School located in Pike Road, AL. Chess is open only to Pike Road Elementary students and in grades K-3.

Classes are for new-to-chess and experienced players alike. Each class includes a learning, practice, and fun period, and kids will be paired up during playing times with kids around their level. Students will be brought directly to chess after their last class each Friday and can be picked up by parents or taken to EPIC (if already registered with EPIC) after chess.

Class Pricing:

• One-Time Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $15

  • Includes Chess team t-shirt.

• Monthly Class Price: $60

  • Includes all months with 3, 4, & 5 scheduled classes in the ‘24-25 school year.

  • Months with 2 scheduled classes are half-priced at $30 (including December & March).

• Fall Semester Price: $100

  • A $5 discount!

  • Covers registration fee + Nov-Dec Classes.

• Full Year Price: $345

  • A $30 discount!

  • Covers registration fee + Nov-May Classes.
