About the Coach:
Jonathan Rasberry is a husband and father who now makes chess teaching his full-time occupation! He has coached chess since 2015, leading many students to win Alabama scholastic championships. Two of his students have won a national girls’ team championship. Jonathan is a three-time state chess champion himself whose peak rating is over 2100.
Format:
15 mins of puzzle solving
35 mins of main lesson material
10-20 mins of gameplay with a classmate
Monthly Class Pricing: $75
Note: We do NOT follow the school calendar. Classes will be held on “teacher work days,” minor holidays, and during breaks!
