2024 Alabama State Scholastic Chess Championship

Congratulations to all our competitors and especially champions on a hard-fought state championship! The event couldn’t have happened without our host Pike Road Elementary and its principal, Jeff Hatfield, the organizational efforts of the Alabama Chess Federation including and especially its Scholastic Vice President and the tournament director, Todd Guthrie, and to the parents and families of the players that sacrificed time and energy in helping these competitors get to this point today.

Below is a list of all individual results, followed by team results, and concludes with pictures from this event. We might be done with our tournament, but chess is still happening all around! Here are links for future tournaments and for our summer camps.
